American Panel Corporation, founded in 1998, is a worldwide provider of rugged, active matrix liquid crystal display panels produced by LG Philips LCD of Korea, one of the world's largest AMLCD glass manufacturers. APC combines years of application experience in high-performance AMLCD ruggedization with LG Philips extensive research and development in glass design. The resulting LCD modules are designed for integration into display products for general and commercial aviation and are utilized in the displays produced by Universal Avionics manufacturing and instrument divisions.
