My name is Jamie Jiang, and I am a student who studied for SAT under Hearth Education’s help. Before I took their classes, my SAT score was not high, only 1200. But then I heard Hearth Education from friends and decided to take their classes to improve my SAT score. I took both the SAT Part I and summer SAT intensive, both classes were different than other SAT help session outside. In the classes teachers not only give you tests and practices to train you, but also teach you how to solve problem faster and more accurately. The most important thing I learned from SAT I was how to write an excellent essay, teachers will guide you to find the main purpose of the prompt, the arguments you can use to improve your essay and the way to put your claims into a strong essay. After I took these classes I have confidence that I can improve my SAT score at least 150 points. I also attended other program Hearth Education provided to help the students who has problem on college apps, I got developed on both academic and personal. I will attend Boston University’s summer program which involved medical problem research. I want to go to Emory University to learn Bio engineering. On my way to reach my dream, Andy Zhang gave me a lot of advises and helps. He taught me not only about how to apply college and improve my academic performance, but also taught me how to manage your work and pressure., what he taught me not just simple confidence of myself, he also the direction of my pathway in my life.

I enjoyed my time a lot here! The classes are just 8-10 students, and we sit in a circle. The teacher presents lessons while we get to debate about topics. At first, I was skeptical because I had been to another tutoring place where the class is 20 students with a random teacher. The students in the back were disruptive, and we had to listen to the teacher talk at the whiteboard for three hours each class. But at Hearth, it's completely different. They're not a business but a learning center that really cares about providing students with quality education.

I came here to work on my SAT junior year and senior year, I used the College Apps consulting private package. My parents let me try several tutoring places in the Johns Creek area, but the teachers were retired and not exciting. Here the teachers were younger and very accomplished themselves (Idara graduated from Stanford). I felt like I really had role models who cared a lot about my progress. For example, there were a few times when I couldn't come, but Idara gave me the materials and was generous to spend time with me after class to catch me up for nothing extra. In the summer, I couldn't come to some of the classes for SAT P2, so I was allowed to take the same class in the fall for free! (make sure to mention the "Hearth Guarantee"). In consulting package, which I worked with Andy for, we met every few weeks and spent about 2 hours designing my leadership, service, and competitions. I learned the most from the college work we did because the staff at Hearth got those awards in high school themselves and they will tell you the secrets like what awards to apply to, work on your application materials with you, and what colleges like to see. I am a freshman at Cornell and am grateful to Hearth Education.

Great welcoming place to come to drop off my kids. The teacher-student-parent relationship really benefited us. As a parent, I have line of sight into what my daughter does in class every day because I can see all class notes and homework. There was a period in the beginning when my daughter wasn't doing the work required, and the teacher contacted me to tell me about the situation. I understood from the phone call that the class is only 1-2 x a week and even I can help my daughter because at home, where she spends most of her time. She gave me some guidance to audit my daughter's work and check her performance. I worked with Harmony, the teacher, and my daughter over a year to increase her reading and writing skills. Before, my daughter had a B in her English and S.S. class and now she has A's in English and S.S.

Hearth is the absolute best education program in Georgia. The classes are well thought out and the instructors are great at motivating students. The instructors care a lot and always come out ito the parking lot to talk to parents after class. The college consulting package is a great investment. The consultants edit the essays 15+ times and and give a lot of strategic advice in school classes, leadership, and extracurriculars. The cost pays off when your child gets in a great college.

For two years, my two children goes to Hearth Humanities for SAT classes. This is the only place I trust. Andy is a Harvard graduates, SAT 2400, GA grown. His standards are high and motivates kids with his heart. Kids learn to raise up the scores themselves. Andy does not play scoring games with parents and kids like other SAT places. Also, kids have been doing very well and are motivated at school after taking Andy's SAT classes.
