• Veterinary Ophthalmology
  If your pet's condition requires more extensive specialized care your veterinarian may refer you to a specialist, a veterinarian who has completed advanced studies in specific body systems such as internal medicine, dermatology (skin), orthopedics (bone/joint), or ophthalmology (eye).
• Nutritional Counseling
  What’s great about having the support of a team who doesn’t believe veterinary medicine should be one-size-fits-all is being able to seek recommendations unique to your pet. Our veterinarians and veterinary technicians have training and firsthand experience dealing with various aspects of pet nutrition. Whether you need pet food recommendations or you’d like us to create a personalized exercise plan to assist your pet with weight loss, we can help.

  Crabapple Knoll Veterinary Clinic offers preventive care and services for kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs. Bringing your pet to one of our veterinarians for a physical exam is the smartest and easiest way to keep them healthy.

Illness Treatment

• Parasites Treatment and Control
  All dogs boarding must receive a bath before going home. For cats a bath is optional. Dogs and cats not currently on a flea control product will be given a Capstar tablet, a flea adulticide that kills fleas for 24 hours.
• Behavioral Disorder Treatment
  Vaccines based on your cat’s lifestyle or breed. Core vaccines include rabies and feline distemper, although your veterinarian may recommend additional vaccines like feline leukemia (FeLV)

  At Crabapple Knoll Veterinary Clinic, we rely on state-of-the-art technology to help us identify the cause of skin conditions in pets. We may require blood work and/or a biopsy to aid us in diagnosing the issue.

Infection Treatment

• Parvovirus Infection Treatment
  For your pet's protection and the well being of all pets boarding with us we require dogs and cats to be current on vaccinations. Dogs must have a current Canine Distemper/Parvovirus vaccine, Rabies vaccine, Kennel Cough (Bordetella) vaccine, and Canine Influenza vaccine. Cats must have current Feline Distemper vaccine & Rabies vaccine as well as a current Leukemia vaccine or Leukemia test. To prevent the establishment of a flea population in our kennel environment we also require dogs and cats to be on a flea control product.
• Feline Retro Virus Treatment
  Both puppies and kittens should have certain diagnostic tests over the course of their first year. Puppies should be tested for heartworm by 12 months of age, if not before. Kittens, on the other hand, should be tested for feline leukemia (FeLV) and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) during their first exam.
• Ear Infection Treatment
  Exams allow our veterinarians to detect problems and diseases that might go undiscovered otherwise, including heart murmurs, tumors, enlarged organs, cataracts, ear infections, ear mites, dental disease, skin issues, and allergies.

  Crabapple Knoll Veterinary Clinic is a full-service animal hospital whose mission is to provide the highest standard of veterinary care. We provide compassionate, professional veterinary services for pets in Alpharetta and Roswell, and surrounding communities including Norcross, Woodstock, Canton, Cumming, and Marietta. We offer the community emergency veterinary services as well as medical, surgical, and dental veterinary care. With an in-house pharmacy, laboratory, cold laser therapy and digital radiology services we offer complete health and medical care for your pets. We also offer boarding and grooming services.
• Grooming
  Surgery services are offered Monday-Friday only. Routine bathing services are offered 7 days a week. Professional Grooming services are available 7 days a week by appointment.
