- DenturesFor some, the potential cost of one or more dental implants may seem intimidating, and they may be tempted to restore their smiles with a bridge or denture. Or they simply opt to continue to live without a full complement of teeth.
- Dental ImplantsWhen it comes to replacing missing teeth, dental implants are a very good choice. Implants are permanent, stable restoration options that can be brushed and flossed just like your natural teeth, and they can last a lifetime with the proper care. But there are some requirements for your dental implants to be successful, and not the least of those is a healthy amount of bone tissue in the upper or lower jaw, depending on the treatment area. Dental implants need to bond with the surrounding bone tissue in order for them to serve you properly, and without that tissue, there is a chance your implant could fail.
