I don't think anyone bakes better cookies. Everytime I serve them, people rave, especially about the cream filling in the ladylocks and gobs. The ethnic cookies ( kolach, etc. ) are true to the old recipes. Some bakers use the same dough for everything and all the cookies taste the same. Not the case here. Also these taste like real butter is used. You get what you pay for here, plus the owner is very accomodating.
