Kidney and Hypertension Consultants, Inc focuses on diseases of the kidney and hypertension. Kidney and Hypertension Consultants, Inc was founded in 1990 by Jehad Y. Asfoura, M.D. The practice currently consists of seven Nephrologists and two Certified Nurse Practitioners whom are dedicated to providing excellent care to their patients. Services are provided throughout 5 counties. There are locations in Alliance, Canton, Carrollton, Dover and Millersburg. High blood pressure is a major factor in the development of kidney problems in people who have diabetes. Both a family history of high blood pressure and the presence of the disease seem to increase chances of developing kidney disease. Hypertension is not just a cause of kidney disease, but it's also a result of damage created by the kidney disease.
