- Dental ExaminationYour first visit at our office is very important in establishing your oral health baseline. We will perform a complete oral examination which includes an oral cancer screening, periodontal evaluation, an analysis of your occlusion (bite) and a thorough examination of your teeth, their supporting structures and of the oral anatomy.
- Oral Cancer Screening
- Teeth CleaningProblem. We will evaluate the progression of any gum problems you may have and recommend the appropriate treatment. You will also be given instructions on improving your daily oral hygiene habits and having regular dental cleanings.
- FillingsThe cost is moderate and depends on the size of the filling and the technique used by the dentist to place it in the prepared tooth. It generally takes longer to place a composite filling than what is required for an amalgam filling.
- Resin CompositeThe dental bonding procedure utilizes a composite resin and is used for a variety of structural as well as cosmetic purposes. One can draw a parallel between dental bonding materials and a sculptor's clay. By using dental composite resin bonding your dentist can restore chipped or broken teeth, fill in gaps and reshape or recolor your smile.
- VeneersGaps, chips, stains, or misshapen teeth can now be treated with wonderful results and very conservatively using porcelain veneers. Veneers are natural in appearance, and are a perfect alternative for patients wanting to make minor adjustments to the look and feel of their smile. Veneers are thin, custom-made shells made from tooth-colored materials (such as porcelain) designed to cover the front side of your teeth.
- CrownsWhen a tooth has had extensive damage from decay or breakage it may be necessary to restore it with a crown, also known as a “cap”. In the past crowns were made with metal or metal and porcelain. Today Dr. Rafael Mosery employs several metal-free options that can be matched exactly to your natural teeth and are both durable and beautiful. Crowns get cemented in and provide decades of service.
- BridgesFixed bridges can be used to replace missing teeth and use the surrounding teeth for support. The surrounding teeth are crowned (capped) and are connected to the artificial replacement tooth or teeth. The bridge is cemented on to the supporting teeth which keeps it in place. Today metal free bridges provide strength, durability and beauty.

- Root Canal TreatmentIt used to be called a "root canal" until the American Association of Endodontists redesignated it "Non-surgical Endodontic Therapy." It is the same thing, same basic process, same materials.
- Periodontal Surgery
- Deep Cleaning(deep cleaning) will be recommended. If the pockets do not heal after scaling and root planing, periodontal surgery may be needed to reduce pocket depths.
- DenturesCandidates for complete dentures have lost most or all of their teeth. A partial denture is suitable for those who have some natural teeth remaining. A denture improves chewing ability and speech, and provides support for facial muscles. It will greatly enhance the facial appearance and smile.
- OverdenturesAn overdenture is a removable denture that fits over a small number of remaining natural teeth or implants. The natural teeth must be prepared to provide stability and support for the denture.
- Dental ImplantsIt is imperative that the dentist performing the implant be experienced and skilled in all the proper techniques of Implant dentistry. When done successfully, an implant will result in a comfortable and natural looking tooth, thereby providing a permanent solution to a missing tooth.
