Even though it was close to closing time & they were dealing with several other emergencies, I was told I could bring him right in. They took great care of him & we're very grateful that they were able to accommodate us!

I put my precious pets in their hands and have never, in the ten years I have been bringing them to AAC, ever been disappointed. It's a matter of trust, and I trust the entire team. They are intelligent, highly skilled, patient, knowledgeable, kind and personable. I wish we humans could always get the level of care my pets receive at AAC. Sign me up! kimberlyo, Laury`s Station I have been a customer/patient for both dogs and cats for the last 20 years. I am very happy with all the staff and doctors in their office. I have had both emergency situations and normal routine visits and can say honestly that I have never had a complaint. Having pets and properly caring for them can cost a significant amount of money at times. Even if the cost is higher than I would like, I would not change to another practice. I feel the level of service warranted the charges incurred. My last visit was the first visit for my new dog (a rescue who was a stray). They were very thorough with the examination and subsequently the instructions to follow at home to correct the conditions that were uncovered. Fortunately, there are no chronic issues, we have a clearly defined plan to follow and I am looking forward to providing a good home to our new dog. I am very happy with the professionalism, compassion and care provided to my pets and me. Thank you all!

susanw, Allentown Our cat Foxy has been coming to AAC since we rescued him as a stray in mid-June, when he needed treatment after a cat fight. He was in pretty rough shape. That first visit started him on the road to health, and subsequent care for eye infections and ringworm have helped him to become the healthy, handsome kitty he is now! Each time the doctor and vet techs have been very helpful and caring. He just was in 3 days ago for neutering (he's not so sure about that!), but we can see that he is recovering nicely. thanks for your great care! Susan

My family has taken our pets to this practice for many years. I recently had an emergency with my dog and requested a visit. I was very upset and the staff there was no very comforting and very insistent I would only be able to get a visit after hours which was $$$. Being that we have been going there for a long time you would think some kind of exception could be made? Very disappointed and in search of a more caring facility.

Outstanding exotic animal veterinarian. It's obvious that the entire staff loves animals and they, especially Dr. Rutkowski handle my very feisty Amazon like no one else I've ever seen. And, she has a very fun personality. She is the best bird vet in Pennsylvania. Every time I've been there , there are unusual animals in the lobby -- I even saw a huge tortoise in there once. Thanks Dr. Rutkowski. Keep up the good work!

I have consistently gotten excellent customer service from everyone at Allentown Animal Clinic, and I truly believe they care about my cats. Every time I have brought them in, the staff and doctor have been interested in how they're doing, and clearly want to do their best to take great care of the feline part of my family. Everything here was 5 Stars! From our warm reception to the efficient techs and doctor - and we know our vets! They even helped me get special kidney diet food on an emergency basis before we were clients. Our animals get excellent care here.

II have been taking my 2 dogs to the Allentown Animal Clinic for 3 years now.They are great.If it were not for Dr.Rutkowski I believe my little chihuahua Rebel would have died.He developed IMHA.His body was killing off his own red blood cells.We did alot of testing,but couldn't find out why..Dr. Rutkowski believes it could have been a reaction to the rabies vaccine.She did come up with the perfect treatment for him.Today because of her he is a happy and healthy dog.I trust them to care for my 2 dogs anyday.the entire staff from the vets to the vet techs.and receptionists are all very courteous and treat my dogs with great care.In fact they get excited just to see them.They always explain all the treatment and cost to me.Any vet care is expensive that is why I get pet insurance for my dogs.When I read all those reviews saying bad things I don't for a minute believe it.When Rebel was sick they called me several times a day with updates on him.They deserve a 5 star rating in my book.If you have a pet and are looking for a vet ,they are the best as far as I am concerned.I have seen every vet in the clinic they are all wonderful.I wouldn't go any place else. . My recent dealings with this clinic left me with the genuine feeling that the doctors and staff truly cared for my pet and treated her like she was their own. I was also impressed with their desire to educate me as well as their professional demeanor. I felt welcome, almost like a feeling of personal connection with the staff. I can't say enough about the Allentown Animal Clinic. The staff is friendly, caring, and professional. Thanks to my two cats and one accident and illness prone Greyhound, I've gotten to know everyone at the clinic very well. I have never had a bad experience in the many, many times that I've been at the clinic. Sometimes you don't always get the news that you want to hear - but on those occasions, I'm confident that they're doing or have done everything possible. Highly Recommended! February 19, 2011

Our beloved dog needed surgery, and Dr. Sawickij arranged to have it done so she could watch her carefully throughout the day. Mazzy had an unusual complication following surgery, and we probably would have lost her if Dr. Sawickij and her staff had not acted quickly to stabilize her and get her to Valley Central Hospital (in one of the tech's own vehicles, while giving her fluids on the way). Dr. Sawickij was in regular contact with Valley Central, called us every day, and made sure we would be able to reach her if needed. Mazzy's hospitalization and her first few days home were very difficult, but we had amazing support from Dr. Sawickij - and Mazzy's surgeon, Dr. Zeltzman, and Dr. Carter, who treated her at Valley Central (both of whom we also cannot say enough good things about!). Mazzy is now completely well, and we just want to thank all the staff at Allentown Animal Clinic for their exceptional skill and how much they care about our girl!

The doctors and staff were amazing with my dog! The doctors were willing to take time to answer many questions. I found the staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable. A great place to take your pets for excellent care!

took my ferrets here and had great service. finally found a vet that actually knows something about the species. place was clean, neat - nurses were great - doctors very knowledgeable and patient. will be going back.

These guys have the most professional service and give consistently great care. I wouldn't go anywhere else. My dogs love them!
