General Info

I have a particular interest in postpartum training and outreach to the teen community through a strong education and prevention message. Originally from Cuba, I am bilingual which helps establish and strengthen my connection with my Spanish-speaking patients. After graduating from the University of Florida, I attended medical school at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine and continued my training at hospitals in London and Long Island before my residency through the acclaimed St. Luke's Obstetrics & Gynecology residency program. As part of my residency, I took on an active role teaching junior residents and medical students. Outside of work, I stay active with ZUMBA classes and enjoy spending time with my two sons, husband and family, exploring new places, reading and dancing to Latin music.
