Established in 1965, Community Services for Children is a provider of various child and family development services to low-income families. It offers preschool programs, such as Head Start and parent-child home programs. Its Head Start program focuses on the language learning and problems of children upto 3 years of age. It provides training programs to more than 1,200 child care professionals to increase their knowledge and skills through seminars and workshops. It has a child care division that offers publicly and privately funded grants for child care programs. It additionally has a family library that provides books, toys, resource materials and computers for children education. Community Services for Children is located in Allentown, Pa.
