Lucas Volunteer Fire Department, also known as LVFD, provides fire protection and emergency medical services. The department serves residents in Collin County, Texas. It operates a fire station and has a fleet of fire suppression apparatus, such as pumps, tanks and hydraulic generators. Lucas Volunteer Fire Department has a staff of firefighters that is equipped with radios, pagers and firefighting bunker gears. The department is operated by the Public Safety division of the City of Lucas.
