Baker Allegan Studios is your West Michigan Fiber Arts Studio and Gallery. We feature over 25 West Michigan Artisans in our Gallery as well as the Fiber Arts from our studio. In the Studio, we sell New Looms and Wheels from Schacht, Kromski, LeClerc and Glimakra and all brands of Used Looms, as well as everything you need to Weave or Spin. Weaving and Spinning Supplies fill our shelves as well as Hand Spun and Hand Dyed Yarns and Roving. We also carry natural Alpaca, Llama, Tunis, Silk, Pygora Goat and Merino Wool roving. Check out our great selection of Books on Spinning and Weaving. See our web site for classes or renting our special looms to weave your own rag rug or kitchen towel.

Amenities

We have a unique way of teaching Weaving.... we actually start you with WEAVING first, then we teach you how to set up your loom. We believe that this way, you learn the fun stuff first and THEN what you have to do to have fun. We also have 3 semi-automatic looms that you can weave a Rag Rug or a Kitchen Towel on with no classes or commitment... just have fun and take home a finished product.
