Christian Relief Services operates the Center for Housing Counseling Training, which is a nonprofit corporation that was founded in 1997. The Center for Housing Counseling Training provides housing counseling training services to persons employed by public and private human service providers in Fairfax County, Va. It offers assistance services for low-income group families. Located in Alexandria, Va., the Center for Housing Counseling Training offers a variety of educational courses. It provides classes in cultural diversity, identifying resources, eviction and foreclosure prevention, employment training and development, and federal, fair subsidized, emergency, transitional and special needs housing. The center offers courses to volunteers, case managers, and public and private nonprofit human services agencies.
