  I had been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis by a rheumatologist, even though the blood test was negative and my symptoms did not correspond to RA symptoms. Dr. Weiss discovered that my symptoms matched those for Lyme Disease, an ailment not usually seen in NM. He correctly diagnosed my condition, which was verified by a blood test, and I am currently on a supplement, also discovered by Dr. Weiss, which has helped control the symptoms of Lyme Disease. Regardless of the fact that I was in the hospital and under the care of a specialist, Dr. Weiss continued to monitor my condition. While I was in the hospital emergency room, he even spoke with the treating physician.
