I recently found a wonderful little restaurant hidden in the middle of Albuquerque. I would have driven right by if I wasn't looking for it (I had done an internet search for restaurants in that area). Had a hard time deciding what to eat based on all the yummy descriptions in the menu. I wanted a sample of everything! I ended up with the ABQ Panini & it was very tasty. Prices are normal for a place like that (~$9 for my panini w/ fries, $2.75 for 12oz Chai Latte). Great food & service. You could show up in the morning to relax, drink coffee, eat baked goods & read a book or newspaper as it is has everything a gourmet cafe should. Then later you could eat a delicious meal for lunch since they have a nice selection of gourmet menu choices. You could telework, shop at the nearby Pavilion or play Flappy Bird until your friends got off work to meet you on the patio for Happy Hour. The place closes at 9pm (except Sunday) so you will have to go home SOMEtime... but otherwise, the Daily Grind can keep your tastebuds & tummy happy all day long.
