The price was right...
Other than that, they failed to show up on the scheduled day of installation, forcing me to take an extra day off work (on their behalf, they did credit me an insignificant amount of money for this). When they did show up for the install, they were inept at finding my pre-wiring and cut 3 large holes in my wall looking randomly for where they "thought" my main connections should have been. When this did not pan out, they actually looked for a signal, which they found in a closet. Cut more holes, installed a big ugly box inside a closet only to discover that all the pre-wiring was in my garage which backed onto the closet. At this point, hours later, I was fed up and told them just to leave the box in the closet. They left me with much drywall repair to be done on my own tab.
I paid an extra $200 to have remote access via my cellphone (plus additional monthly fees), however, the app rarely works.
Overall, I do not recommend this company and would have rather paid a bit more upfront for more competent service that I can rely on.
Installation, equipment & pricing were good, however they failed at what they are contracted for, prompt alarm response. The alarm activated on one occassion and TAS never called us to determine if it were a real alarm or false alarm. On another occassion it took them 2 hours to phone us to tell us our alarm was activated. When we inquired as to why they didn't call sooner they said they were overwhelmed with alarm triggers and they just didn't have the staff to get back to us sooner. Our experience with their customer service was also unacceptable. Phone personal were rude and did not offer reasonable solutions to reported problems. I would not recommend this company. As soon as my 1 year contract was up I got a new company.
