Established in 1969, Sandia Preparatory School is an independent co-educational college preparatory school. It provides education to students in grades six through 12. Its curriculum includes various subjects, such as English, math, science, social studies and arts. The school provides a variety of athletic activities, including baseball, basketball, cross country racing, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, track, volleyball and tennis. The school also provides a variety of clubs and extracurricular activities. In addition, it offers various summer programs in music, science and graphic design. Its amenities include gymnasium, library, and computer and science labs. The school also provides support and guidance services to students. It is certified by the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest and the New Mexico Department of Education. It is also a member of the National Association of Independent Schools. Sandia Preparatory School is located in Albuquerque, N.M.
