Founded in 1981, Parents Reaching Out is a statewide nonprofit organization that works with parents, caregivers, educators and other professionals to serve New Mexico families and children. Located in Albuquerque, N.M., the firm caters to the families having children with special health and developmental needs. Its list of partners include the New Mexico Public Education Department (PED), New Mexico Department of Health, Local Education Agencies (LEA), New Mexico PTA, hospitals, universities and family support agencies.
