On Jan. 17, 2013 My sister and I went to Applebees earlier around 11:25am and ordered the 2 for $20 plus 1 appetizer. My sister ordered the Three Cheese Chicken Penne. I ordered the Chicken Tender Basket with fries. When I received my meal around 11:45am, I moved a chicken tender to put some ketchup in my tray and there was a fried roach on my tray. I was completely disgusted and immediately asked for the manager. I asked him to look at my tray and he saw the roach as well. He said that was strange because it came out of the fryer. I stated that my sister and I were going to leave. He said he understood but then asked us to pay for our drinks because "...nothing was wrong with the drinks." I felt completely disrespected and I feel like he disregarded how serious the situation at hand is. I told him this was horrible service and we will not pay for any of the meal. He agreed and we left. My sister realized that she forgot her credit card and I.D. so we returned to applebees and asked for the manager and when he arrived we asked if he found the credit card and I.D. and he came with the credit card but said he didn't see the I.D. My sister said they were together and he suggested for us to look for it. At that point we seen our server and we asked her if she seen the I.D. and she said yes and came back with the I.D. I got his name and the Applebees card and said we would be contacting higher authority from him and we left.
