My daughter Analisa has been taking jazz and ballet classes at Academy of Dance & Music now for three years and just had her 3rd dance recital with this dance company. She has been doing dance since she was 3 years old and this Dance studio is much better than where she was taking ballet at when we lived in Colorado. She loves both of the dance classes that she takes and Leah works so well with all of students and it is amazing that she has such great patients to work with the students so well and make sure that they get the extra help that they need since the classes are small so that helps a lot. Leah also notices when the student needs that extra help and does what she can to help them. There have been times if my daughter has gotten frustrated or upset about something that Leah pointed out to her or tried showing her would then ask me to come and sit in the class to watch to see if I noticed it or would ask me if I could help with explaining it to my daughter so that she wouldn't get frustrated or upset and to let my daughter know while Leah was right there that she isn't saying or showing what she is to be mean but saying it to help you correct it because you are a good dancer and she sees that you love it. This year my daughter participated in the musical theater that they did for the beginning of the dance recital and my daughter loved it. This year Leah had a new student that was helping her with the classes and Miss Sarah Jane did an awesome job helping Leah and the dance students loved it. This years dance recital was AMAZING. Within an hour after we left from the dance recital my daughter was asking to do it again. My daughter enjoys her ballet classes with Leah. I have watched and noticed the patient, step-by-step instructions in class and it shows in some of the progress my daughter has made in her dancing. Plus, the recitals that my daughter performs in every year are amazing to watch. Angie

I have been a student at Academy of Dance and Music for several years. I enjoy the small class sizes and the individual attention. Leah Servais is a wonderful instructor. She is always positive and encouraging. As an adult dancer, it can be difficult to find a class that matches your skill level. I find that the classes are well rounded and encompass many skill levels, leaving no one behind and yet still challenging those with a higher skill set. The studio is beautifully equipped and the waiting area is spacious and comfortable. Reviewed by Jessica B.
