Jim Thorpe Area School District serves the educational needs of more than 1,700 students in grades kindergarten through 12. Located in Jim Thorpe, Pa., the school district offers a variety of educational, enrichment and extracurricular programs for its students. Jim Thorpe Area School District comprises L. B. Morris Elementary School, Penn-Kidder Campus, and Jim Thorpe Area High School. Its curriculum includes English, language art, social studies, science and technology, health education, mathematics, business studies, computer science, fine arts, music, and physical education. The district offers various sport programs, such as golf, softball, football, cheerleading, volleyball, basketball, baseball, tennis, soccer, wrestling, and athletics.
