Community Action of Orleans & Genesee Inc. is a nonprofit organization that has been providing social service to the low-income and disadvantaged families of the United States for over 40 years. Located in Albion, N.Y., it offers a wide range of programs, such as educating children and working with parents in various areas like education, housing and nutrition. Additionally, the organization provides programs that use short and long-term benefits (e.g., HEAP Application Assistance and Weatherization Services), referrals (emergency services) as well as education (Employment Training programs) to make people become independent. Its RESTORE Program provides emergency repairs to the senior citizens of Genesee and Orleans Counties.
