I was introduced to Whispering Pines about 12 years ago when I met my husband's family who live in Albemarle. It is delicious BBQ with or without the sauce (spicy red pepper vinegar). It is the best BBQ I have had in NC, SC and TN (including Memphis dry-rubs and Food Network Star Neely's and Interstate BBQ in Memphis). Please make a trip to Albemarle for this true taste of Southern Hospitality and the best BBQ you will ever find!

For 26 years I have eaten this BBQ. I have to say it is the best in the eastern U.S. The service is great and the bbq is to die for. If you want some great bbq, visit Whispering Pines.
