Since 1990, Alliance Medical has assisted residents of Stanly and surrounding counties in North Carolina by providing home care, in-home aide services, medical equipment and supplies. Based in Albemarle, N.C., its services include bathing, mouth, skin and nail care, hair and scalp grooming, shaving, toileting, mobility assistance, assistance with walking, exercises, medical monitoring, and pulse, temperature and respirations monitoring. Alliance Medical also provides meal preparation, menu planning for special diets and conditions, shopping for special dietary requirements, home management, cleaning of patient's living area and bathroom, and laundry of patient's clothing and linens. Candidates for personal care services include accident and stroke victims, elderly adults and diabetics.
