I don't know where the first reviewer ate but not at Shining Rainbow. I am a Chinese and I can honestly say that this restaurant has some authentic Chinese food at terrific prices. My girlfriend from LA came to visit and we went there for lunch. For a little over $20, we had two dishes with a small plate of dim sum and a pot of free tea. My friend was impressed that a small city on the east coast can have good Chinese food comparable to LA's many Chinese eateries. If you can get a group of 10 or 12 together, try to order banquet style dinner in advance. Great food and great value. The deco and atmosphere is nothing to write home about though.

nice atmosphere but the food was blah to not good.If you want the best Chinese in Albany, go to CCK at 299 Central.
Albany finally got "Real" Chinese Food. Nice work
