  Since joining Maynard O’Connor in 2010, Justin has concentrated his practice in the areas of real property litigation and transactions, title defense litigation, commercial litigation and transactions, general civil litigation, appeals, residential and commercial lending, business law and transactions, health care law and bankruptcy (creditor’s rights).   Rosy is a 2016 graduate of New York City College of Technology, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies. Rosy then went on to receive her J.D. from Vermont Law & Graduate School in 2022.  Rosy focuses her practice in representing defendants in the areas of civil litigation, including medical malpractice, premises liability, motor vehicle negligence, and general liability. She also represents buyers and sellers in a wide range of residential and commercial transactions.

  Bruce has served as a trial attorney with the firm for more than 30 years, successfully defending hospitals and doctors in medical malpractice claims and representing plaintiffs in employment discrimination matters and personal injury cases. His practice areas also include employment and municipal law, products liability, and general litigation, with extensive working knowledge of the various levels of state and federal laws that govern employment claims, particularly those involving discrimination and sexual harassment.

  Kelly has been a trial attorney for over 13 years, defending hospitals and medical professionals against medical negligence claims, as well as defending medical professionals in matters before the New York State Justice Center, New York State Office of Professional Medical Conduct (OPMC) and the New York State Education Department. We are skilled at formulating estate plans that best meet the needs of our clients, accomplished with a thoughtful, compassionate approach to the client’s requirements and goals.
• Wills
  In New York State, when a person dies, his or her will is generally offered for probate in the Surrogate Court for the county in which the decedent lived at the time of his or her death. Similarly, trusts can be administered in either Surrogate Court or Supreme Court. Our Trusts and Estates practice includes a team that handles litigation involving wills and trusts. On occasion, wills are ambiguous with respect to how the person who died wanted his or her assets distributed. Other times, there may be questions about the capacity or ability of the person to make a will because of physical or mental conditions. There are also times when the will was not properly witnessed or the person who made the will was being improperly influenced in deciding how his or her assets were to be distributed by means of the will. When these situations arise, litigation may ensue with respect to the validity of the will. Our firm has experience representing individuals who are contesting a will, as well as estates where the will is being challenged. Further, challenges may be brought against an estate or trust fiduciary with respect to how the trust or estate is being administered. Again, we have a team of attorneys that can handle these types of matters in a competent and prompt manner.
