Dr. Velarde makes patients feel inferior to herself. She does not listen to patient symptoms and interrupts if you try to explain how you are feeling to her. Dr. Velarde also may put words into your mouth and tell you that you are not intelligent despite your education.. I have certainly had better doctors and have never felt more unwelcome in the presence of any other person.
