The Capital Employee Assistance Program, also known as Capital EAP, is a program of the Family and Children's Service of the Capital RegionIt is one of the oldest nonprofit family service agencies still operating. The program includes counseling and financial assistance services. The Capital Employee Assistance Program provides productivity and performance enhancement solutions to its clients. The program also includes assessment and evaluation services. The Capital Region offers training on anger management, self-esteem enhancement, workplace issues, leadership skills and related topics. Located in Albany, N.Y., the agency has a staff of more than 40,000 employees. In addition, it conducts workshops on topics, such as team building, leadership style, effectiveness and prevention of workplace violence.
