I used alpine environmental last year to inspect a crawl space of a home I was looking to purchase. I needed proof that what was in the crawl space was asbestos and that it would cost at least a certain amount to remove so I could get our of purchasing the home. It took them a month to give me the results, at which time it was too late and I was almost stuck losing my 2000$ good faith deposit on the home and was forced into a legal battle to be able to back out of my contract. at the end of all of this, 3 months after completing the 10 minutes of work to come in and do a visual inspection they sent me an invoice for 300$. after voicing my concerns with the inability to use the results they shared with me i then had to wait 4 more months for a response. I do not recommend doing business with this company is you are under any type of normal time constraints. I am now stuck paying 300$ for 10 minutes of work that turned out to be unneeded and cause me much more work and legal troubles.
Our real estate office contacted Alpine to complete a Phase II Environmental Site Assessment for a marina we were in the process of selling. Though our project was well over two hours away from their location, Alpine was more than happy to accommodate us. They were very helpful and always responded to our questions, as well as our request for a proposal, promptly and professionally.
