The recent improvements to the lounge areas and field surfaces at both Afrim's facilities seem to mask an underlying problem that has existed for a couple years now - referees. Although there are a couple of excellent, fair refs at Afrim's, there are more refs at the opposite end of the spectrum - lazy, nonchalant, inattentive. You can play against the same team with different refs, resulting in an entirely different game. In other words, the game is ABSOLUTELY no fun when the ref is poor and disconnected from the game. Sometimes the game would be better played (and more fun) with gentleman's rules as opposed to a lazy ref. Games have been increasingly uncontrolled by the refs, resulting in unnecessary injuries and stoppages in play due to seemingly avoidable altercations amongst players. Afrim's should invest time in improving referee quality, similarly to what they have done with facility appearance.

Afrim's is a great place for kids and adults! I love their soccer tots program, we've had my son in it since he was 18 months! We've also had his birthday party there twice with the bounces and field time. Staff is so friendly and helpful. There is also all different levels of play for adults which is great since I haven't played in years. I would recommend that anyone stop in and look around
