Primus Industries offers employment, day habilitation and vocational services for people with developmental disabilities. It is one of the service centers of the Albany Area Community Service Board, which is a public, nonprofit organization accredited by The Joint Commission. The organization also serves people with mental disorders and addictive diseases. Its mental health services include diagnostic assessment, individual counseling, group and family therapies, medication administration, family education, crisis intervention and psychosocial rehabilitation. The organization s community support programs focus on building interpersonal, daily living, social and academic skills. The Albany Area Community Service Board is also certified by Medicare and Medicaid.
