Alamosa School District is one of the largest 14 districts offering classes for grades kindergarten through 12 school systems in the San Luis Valley, Colo. The school district has a student population of more than 2,000, and its staff includes over 250 employees. It comprises various schools, including Almosa High School, Ortega Middle School, Evans Elementary, Boyd Elementary, Polston Primary, and Almosa Open High School.
