Clo Lau, DC obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West where she graduated valedictorian and summa cum laude. She completed her undergraduate studies at UC Davis in preparation for medical school but realized the current medical model did not support the patient centered care in which she believed. Instead she worked as a molecular biologist concentrating on cancer, arthritis, and asthma research. While working as a researcher, Dr. Lau discovered chiropractic and was amazed at the instant changes she felt with her very first adjustment. She found her calling in chiropractic because it allows her to do what she loves – actively helping people and changing lives. Dr. Lau believes in maximizing function through a holistic approach. She utilizes a variety of soft tissue techniques in conjunction with chiropractic adjustments to optimize her patient’s health and physical function. She is passionate about patient centered care and endeavors to provide individualized therapies for all her patients. Her areas of interest include sports chiropractic, extremity work and injury prevention.
