The Bay View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center provides short- and long-term rehabilitation care services to senior citizens. It is a 180-bed facility that includes several private and semiprivate rooms. The Bay View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center offers geriatric and cardiac rehabilitation, splint fabrication, deep tissue mobilization, exercises and dysphasia treatment services. The center offers nursing care, assistance with daily living, recreational activities and companionship services. Located in Alameda, Calif., it provides physical, occupational, speech and respiratory therapies. In addition, the Bay View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center provides a variety of intensive nursing programs, including intravenous therapy, pain management and hospice care. It is a part of Kindred Healthcare, which operates more than 220 nursing centers in the United States.
