A culinary cornerstone for the Alabaster community. Crowds keep returning because the portions are huge, the food is delicious, the prices are great and guests are treated like family. While the pasta and pizza are amazing acts, the star of the show is the homemade cake. Each slice is moist, addictive and... the biggest piece of cake you’ve ever seen in your life! Provided by YPmobileGreat food & great service. The lobster ravioli is a great dish. Wished there was a kid friendly menu.

Provided by YP.comI love Joe's Italian, but they do not have a very "kid-friendly" menu. My kids are very picky and wanted to order pizza, but it was going to take 45 minutes for pizza to be ready. I would suggest that they should keep pizza on had for "by the slice" ordering for kids.

Provided by YP.comThis family oriented resturant is great. The friendly wait staff, Mama & Joe, Sonja - everyone makes you enjoy your dining experience.
The food is great - our favorites for new diners to try are the tomato basil soup and Mama's strawberry cake.
All your Italian favorites are available - the portions are generous!

Provided by YP.comI am not a big fan of Italian food, but the rest of my family is. I went to Joe's for the first time a couple of weekends ago. It will not be my last time. While the rest of my family fills up on the bread and Sicilian meals, I'll just sit there and eat a piece of the most delicious strawberry cake I have ever put in my mouth. Well, I am sure I won't be able to eat the entire piece because they don't serve a normal slice. It appears to be about 1/4 of the cake. Even if Italian cuisine is not your thing, you must go just to check out their desserts. YUM!

Provided by YPmobileWe love Joe's for both the food and ambiance. Leave room for mamma's scrumptious cakes. Delicious.

Provided by YP.comI've eaten at Joe's several times and I hear and see all the raves about the food -- but, I've had better Italian. Everyone raves about the bread but I'm simply not a fan of it. I perfer something more hearty and crusty -- like the bread at Macaroni Grill. Now don't get me wrong -- the food is good and the friendliness of the family and staff is superior but I just don't get the all the five star ratings. Evidently there are some folks who don't get out much -- especially to "great" Italian restaurants.

Love the food, love the family atmosphere. Joe is always there to greet you with a hearty Sicilian welcome.
Definitely keep coming back!

I was taken to Joe's by friends and loved its truly authentic Italian food, wine, and atmosphere. Everything is made from "scratch" by Mama. The wine was the best pinot grigio I've ever had and a perfect complement to the meal -- all homemade.

The very best Italian rest. ever; even better than restaurants in Italy. Unique experience for a superb food.

Provided by YP.comI have eaten at Joe's Italian on many occassions, and each time I go I always get the same personal attention that I did the first time I ate there. I enjoy the small cafe feel of the restaraunt and the personal touch of Joe' himself coming around to each table ensuring that you have a very pleasant dining experience. The food is always extra ordinary and the highlight of each experience for me is the fresh made deserts that are offered at the end of the meal. My personal favorite is the Black Forrest cake. It would be nice if wine were available with the meal and I understand that Joe is currently in the process of obtaining this license.

This is the real deal! Not only is the food a tremendous value, it's the best Italian I have even had. The restaurant itself has so much ambiance. It was truly a dining experience not just dinner. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!
