United Way of Summit County is a voluntary and community service organization supporting over 130 programs provided by 46 local affiliated health and human service agencies in Summit County and by eight non-affiliated agencies. Located in Akron, Ohio, it provides education, income and health services to families, individuals and children in the community. The organization has affiliation with the American Heart Association, American Red Cross-Barberton Chapter and American Red Cross of Summit and Portage County, among others.
