I would like to share a story about a local Lumber yard. Carter lumber. On Friday Nov, 19 2010 I went to Carter Lumber to purchase to garage doors. The doors I wanted were Wayne Dalton doors. They were in stock so I purchased. It was time to pay for purchase. Total bill 670.95. I paid 500 in cash 170.95 debit card. The clerk card the entire total to debit card. I said no worries just keep it on the card and give me the 500.00 cash back and I will put it in the bank. He says I will simply credit it your card back. I said Are you sure... He says yep no problem. I said okay. Well turns out not only did the credit not work THEY CHARGE me 670.95 twice on my debit card. Keep in mind at this time I have paid 500.00 cash 170.95 on card then 670.95 on card then 670.94 on card. WOW total investment that day over 2000.00 for doors that cost 670.95 tax in. Okay Nov 20 2010 I call the store explain the same story, I was told they would have to wait until Monday and check credit card batch to verify
