General Info
The first Waffle House restaurant was opened on Labor Day in 1955 in Avondale Estates, Ga. Since then, it has grown into a chain of more than 1,500 company and franchise-owned casual restaurants in over 25 U.S. states. It serves a variety of waffles, steaks, omelets, hamburgers, country ham, pork chops and grits. The restaurant serves specialty dishes, such as Bert's chili, Walt s soup, Alice s iced tea and Lib's patty melt. It offers hash browns in eight different ways. Waffle House serves more than 3 million pounds of grits each year and over 10,000 T-bone steaks each day. Apart from serving food, the restaurant supports various health and human service organizations, youth and education programs, and disadvantage and other civic causes. It conducts in-house events and programs, such as The Great Miller Lite Chili Cook-off and the Waffle House World Waffle Eating Championship.

My husband and I stopped at the Waffle House in Aiken, S.C. this morning. We have frequented many of your Waffle House restaurants in our travels and have always been very satisfied with our service and the food. However, today was a different story. Our waitresses name was Tabbi I do not have room enough to tell you everything that happened Just let me say it was terrible. Plus during the time we were there I saw 4 people leave because there were no clean tables. Service was terrible, silverware was dirty, and Tabbi ( when my husbands order was wrong ) stated Re: me " If you had ordered hashbrowns, that is what he would have gotten". Intimating that I was lying. I never write a review but this was too much. I am sorry to burden you but I felt it important you knew about this particular waitress. Thank you for your time.

Great Food and Service provided by a very special server. When you are lucky enough to sit in her section. She is always goes out of her way to please.
