The High Country Inn isn't just a hotel to stay at and forget about later, it's an all inclusive experience!The cabins provide a quiet and private getaway with your friends and family. The Inn itself can support a large group, for social functions, parties, weddings and retreats. When you stay with us, you will leave with unforgettable memories of the beautiful dcor and view, the warm hospitality, excellent food, and the best sleep you ever had, not to mention the many amenities that wont be enjoyed at motels or hotels.Sleeping Accommodations for 14 if each person has own bed. We can accommodate up to 32 persons if couples sleep in the double and queen beds, also using the Catawampus Room futons. All accommodations complete with fine linens, including robes and spa towels. Cabins are a short walk on the gravel path from inn.The High Country Inn is only minutes from Idaho's Highway 12. The drive along Idaho's Clearwater River Valley from Orofino, Idaho through Ahsahka brings you into the world of a rustic, yet elegant, Pacific Northwest bed and breakfast - the perfect mountain retreat!The luxurious cabins are furnished with hand-made lodgepole beds, chests, tables and chairs, hand-quilted coverlets, and plush robes for ultimate comfort. The porches feature comfortable rockers and gliders, where you can sit enjoying a cup of coffee early in the morning, or a glass of wine in the evening, listening to the sounds of nature.. Our guests tell us that the beds are the most comfortable they have ever had, and the quiet is unbelievable!Inside the in are the elegant Moose Room Suite which opens out onto the outdoor hot tub, and the smaller Fish Room, ideal for a single person. All private rooms have queen-size beds. The inn specializes in Romantic Getaways, or overnight packages which include a home-cooked dinner, all the amenities of the inn, as well as a delicious breakfast.With the larger Gone Fishin cabin, enough lodging is available for seven to eleven, and groups are easily accommodated and welcome. The Catawampus Room affords the opportunity for couples or groups to enjoy a game of billiards, poker, darts, or the Game of the Day or a movie on satellite TV!
