Inspire Malibu uses self-empowerment, not the 12-steps of AA, as the basis for recovery or after care. We're a luxury rehab treatment center that focuses on non 12 step program. We realize AA and the 12 step model are not for everyone. Our clients frequently consist of very knowledgeable people, many of whom come here for treatment because they have not found success in your typical 12 step programs. Inspire Malibu is in no way opposed to the 12 steps, we consider it as aftercare, not treatment. We offer patients the opportunity to attend SMART Recovery meetings. We continuously incorporate breakthrough scientific advances in addiction medicine assuring you the finest patient care. Inspire Malibu approaches addiction in the same manner we would diagnose and treat any chronic medical condition, regardless of the patient's religious or ethnic background. The illness doesn't discriminate nor do we.
