The Engineering Division is a part of the Benton County Public Works Department, which is governed by Benton County in Arkansas. The Benton County Public Works Department is responsible for providing public utility, land use, and transportation and road system maintenance services. The department administers the surveyor s office that offers benchmark control and property line adjustment services. It operates a county service district that provides and funds a variety of water, sewer, fire and other public safety system construction projects. The Benton County Public Works Department is also responsible for the supervision of various government-owned properties, including juvenile, law enforcement, courthouse and public service buildings.
