Located in Acworth, Ga., Oak Grove Elementary serves students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The school is a part of the Cherokee County School District, which operates more than 35 schools, including 11 elementary schools from kindergarten through sixth grade, six elementary from kindergarten through fifth grade and three elementary schools from kindergarten through fourth grade. In addition, it operates an intermediate school that serves students in grades five and six. The Cherokee County School District also operates a school for the Head Start program, which is an educational program that provides a variety of learning experiences, including classroom activities, field trips and guest speakers. It also organizes indoor and outdoor play for students.
