Durham Middle School is located in Acworth, Ga., and offers education to more than 1,000 students in grades six through eight. It offers a wide variety of sports and athletic activities, including basketball, football, soccer, tennis and cheerleading. The school offers subjects, such as math, English, science, math, social studies and foreign languages. It also offers classes in music, drama, visual arts, and health and physical education. The school provides library services, music lesson rooms and a fully-networked computer laboratory. Durham Middle School is a member of the Cobb County School District that also operates schools, such as Cooper Middle School, Dickerson Middle School, Floyd Middle School and Campbell Middle School.
