Provided by YP.comThe first week at any new establishment may find problems like the ones stated in the first review on this page, but we like the Waterstone Grill even better every time we go back. The food is exceptional, try the barbecue bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer: the service is wonderful and the owner is on site most nights, and you now need a reservation to get in on a Friday or Saturday night so we must not be alone in our praise of the place!
We also like that the owner keeps her store (next store) open and that you can go into the store from the Grill. The warm wood and stone interior make this a cozy place with a beautiful bar so your husband can sit down for a drink while you get to shop while they get your table ready for you!

Provided by YP.comWell. I eagerly anticipated the arrival of a new place in downtown Acworth. After many months of delay on their part, they finally opened the doors! With a menu that seriously resembled Aspens in marietta, I was a little sceptical, but thought "oh well" beats driving to buckhead.I should have left when I asked the owner what made her open this concept, her reply was "I don't know,I would like to put Henrys Louisiana out of buisness"! What a reason huh? No passion, no class, no experience? Well the food was everything I expected. BORING! Tasteless and bumbling service. The servers had no knowledge of the menu (probablly out of embarressment)or wine pairing skills.Let me suggest what to order.
CHINESE TAKE OUT!
I will gas up and drive to buckhead.
As the owner of the Waterstone Grill, I was shocked when I read this review tonight (four months after it was posted). First of all, I question if the person really ate at our restaurant since although we opened on December 11, it was a soft opening with a very low volume of customers that first week or two. Secondly, who would go throught the effort and hard work that it takes to open a restaurant with the sole goal of putting another restaurant out of business?? That is ridiculous. Further, Henry's restaurant was the first successful restaurant in Historic Acworth which has utlimately led to our city becoming a restaurant destination for West Cobb. It is in our best interest to have several excellent restaurants in Acworth to serve our local community. After further analyzing the review, there are no details of exactly what food was ordered or any details of actual experiences. I seriously doubt this person really dined in our restaurant and I can only guess at their motivations. I hope that anyone reading it takes it with a grain of salt.
