- Forty-one years of experience in researching, conducting and managing toxicological, pharmacological, medicinal chemistry and ecological programs to assess and control the effects of drugs, chemicals, radionuclides and daughter products on human health and the environment. No matter what the size of the project is, we service residential, commercial, industrial, local, state and federal agency clients, conducting numerous environmental site assessments, deterministic and probabilistic risk characterizations and Indoor Air Forensic Investigations to evaluate the impact of exposures to hazardous chemicals and radiological materials/daughter products on human health, public welfare, safety and the environment in MA, NY, CT, RI, NH, CO, and the Virgin Islands. Projects undertaken comply with Federal CERCLA/SARA, TSCA, RCRA, RBCA, Brownfields, NRC, DOD and DOE regulations and/or programs, and at the state level: Massachusetts Contingency Plan (MCP), Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (CTDEEP) Remedial Standards, New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (DES), New York (NYSDEC), New Jersey, Maryland, Rhode Island and other state programs, using innovative approaches to develop site-specific risk-based cleanup strategies and goals that are protective of human health and the environment. We also conduct Indoor Air Quality Forensic Investigations associated with vapor intrusion of buildings by volatile hazardous chemicals, including VOCs, Semi-VOCs and Aldehydes via ambient (outdoor) air or by entering the structure through cracked building foundation slabs overlying soil and/or groundwater beneath the structure that has been contaminated by hazardous, volatile materials. For private sector clients we provide Expert Witness Services for Wrongful Death, Qui Tam, Toxic Tort Complaints, and RCRA Civil Actions in the field of toxicological assessment of the impact of pharmaceuticals and hazardous chemicals on human health in residential, commercial and industrial settings.
