Established in 1975, Outreach Health Services is one of the leading providers of home health care and support services in Texas. Its Community Care Services Division provides a range of assistance services to senior citizens and individuals with disabilities. The organization provides Alzheimer s disease treatment, nursing, family and respite care services, as well as installs electronic monitoring systems in clients homes. Outreach Health Services Family Health Services Division offers breastfeeding instruction and support; conducts nutrition education classes; and distributes vouchers for healthy food items, such as milk, cereals and cheese. The organization is licensed by the Texas Department of Health and is a member of the Texas Association for Home Care. It has a staff of more than 6,000 employees and maintains a location in Abilene, Texas.
