We have been having both of our dogs groomed at One Paw At A Time since they were new puppies. Dillon is a Golden Retriever, and Delilah is a King Charles Spaniel. They are both long haired and need special attention when grooming. Carolyn always sends them out looking glamerous and smelling wonderful! Our dogs litteraly pull us to get into the door and once they see Carolyn, off they go without a look back at us! Take our word for it, great service here and very accomodating.
I have been to 4 Groomers in the Pinehurst area. I was looking for a Groomer my dogs would walk back in the door after their first-second experience and I felt confident the groomer would take good care of my pups. Well, at last the place they would enter without fear or protest.They are always done on time, look great, and in good spirits when I come to get them.My dogs have been going there for a year and I recommend One Paw At A Time Highly.Ask for Shelley.
Have been going there for a long time. They are the best.
This place kept my 7month old puppy for 7 hours and told me when I went to pick him up that he was "traumatized" by the experience although they wouldnt say "how". After 2 trips to the vet for vomiting, not eating and hiding for a week, he at least started to let me pet him again. He is not the same dog, deathly afraid of people and loud noises. He was exactly the opposite before the groomers. They gave him severe razor burn that required medication and the mobile groomer that worked with him the second time he was trimmed said that he resembled an abused rescue dog. They also said they felt like he had been choked because he was so afraid of them touching his neck. Dont take your dog there if you care about your pet. Everyone referred me to this place but I have a different dog since I took him there. I was asked for a rating....if I could rate as "Horrible" or "Extremely Hazardous" I would.
